A huge welcome awaits visitors to Ardrahan over the weekend. A full program of activities has been organised. Commencing on Friday evening with traditional sessions in the local pubs. There is a range of activities planned for Saturday: Country market, Juvenile games, tour guide of the parish, golf, senior hurling exhibition game and GAA memorabilia exhibition. On Sunday there is the Vintage Day in Labane and later on Sunday evening the Kilfenora Ceile Band perform in Labane Church.
Organisers would love to see people with Ardrahan connections and indeed people from all over South Galway come out and enjoy these events and perhaps re-establish friendships with school friends and neighbours.
